JARRED PINCUS 377120
I plan to use the existing building as a sports orientated facility such as a gym and indoor courts.

My design focuses on surrounding the site as to enclose the learners in a safe environment as well it creates a courtyard space within the site. My design also focuses strongly on the emphasis of corners such as the Hall - which I propose to be used as a theatre, gallery, community centre when not in use by the school. I have also given each facade a varying skin in order to compensate for the different light and thermal conditions.

  1. This hasn't changed from Thursday so not much to add - remember the relationship between the hall and central building, planning the landscape further, experimenting with the breaking down of the formality of some of your spaces, etc.
Also beware of Revit plans, the section lines read stronger then aspects of your building, they should be light, and much wider then the drawing so as not to interfere too much. GT

  2. initial plan reads nicely, staircases strange - and 3d development is geometrically not convincing. many forms, what are the rules, where is the precision of placement - too much of a mix?
